A small CNC lathe is a compact structure CNC turning equipment suitable for machining small to medium-sized parts. It automatically performs operations such as turning, drilling, boring, grooving, and threading through a computer numerical control system. Characterized by high precision, high efficiency, and a high degree of automation, it is ideal for use in workshops with limited space, teaching laboratories, R&D departments, or small machining workshops.

Four-Axis Machine Tool Motion Method: Adds a rotational axis (typically the A-axis or C-axis) to the standard X, Y, and Z axes. The workpiece can rotate around an axis, enabling continuous machining in the circumferential direction and allowing multiple sides to be machined in a single setup.

Compared to large industrial-grade CNC lathes, small CNC lathes are more affordable and have lower maintenance costs.
Desktop CNC Lathes: The smallest in size, suitable for educational purposes or machining extremely small parts.

Three-axis, four-axis, and five-axis represent the levels of motion freedom and machining capability in CNC machine tools. A higher number of axes allows for handling more complex parts but also demands more from the equipment, programming, and operators. Selection requires comprehensive consideration of part geometry, batch size, precision requirements, and budget.
Small CNC lathes are indispensable entry-level or specialized equipment in modern precision manufacturing, particularly suited for application scenarios with integrated requirements for flexibility, precision, and cost.
